A writer friend of mine was hoping to get a little help from "the community" and I figured this was as good a place as any to ask for some soundbites. No emphasis on the word bite - har. So, take a gander and see if you'd like to help her out!

The Sunday Express (
http://www.express.co.uk) commissioned an article on
"Twilight's" impact on Forks and the local scene. The article a longer
"think piece" will run in the Sunday Review's arts section.
I'd love to explore how the Goth community feels. Does the series'
popularity bring more awareness and acceptance? Is it frustrating to see a
lifestyle choice become a tweeny fad? Maybe a little of both? And have you
encountered any awkward fan moments or other stories you'd like to share?
The paper is a middle-market tabloid and English. So light humor will be
deployed. But the editor's a friend and a wee bit Gothy herself, so I expect
the end result will be wry, but tasteful. We're both excited to push this
story beyond the obvious "vampires invade rural town" angle.
Any help is hugely appreciated.
WHEN: Insanely short notice. Please comment by 9pm Thursday, July 16, PST.
The story's due a six hours later, so act quick!

bother). Also, please detail any special connections to the scene: blogs or
books written, club-nights organized, etc. I'll head-check everyone I can!
